From Mariah to Pariah in the blink of an eye.

Being an omega and the outcast of a small town isn’t that big a deal.

But being an omega and the outcast at the prestigious Havenfall University is a lot more than I bargained for.

My goal is to keep my head down and get through the year; then, I can put much-needed distance between myself and the pretentious snobs of high society.

Unfortunately, my first day sets the tone for what I have coming my way.
Rejections.Yep, you heard that right. Plural.
Bullying from alphas and omegas alike. Even betas throw me the stink-eye when they don’t think I’m looking.
And the icing on the outcast cake… Putting up with my step-monster when she beckons me.

It’s not all that bad, though. There’s an amazing library on campus, though every time I go in there, I swear I feel eyes searing me soul-deep.

And those that rejected me, I see them every time I turn around.

But the pressure to conform weighs me down daily, and the longer I’m here, the closer I am to succumbing to their whims just to make my life a little easier.

But if I make the change and I’m not me, then who am I really?

With the help of a rag-tag group of guys, I may just find out.
